This test is ideal for individuals experiencing cold, flu, or COVID-like symptoms such as fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, or nasal congestion. It can also be used by those who may have been exposed to respiratory infections and want quick screening at home.
What is in the test

Each kit includes:

  • Test cassette
  • Sterile nasal swab
  • Extraction buffer tube
  • Biosafety bag (optional)
  • Full instructions for use
How do you perform the test?
  1. Wash your hands thoroughly before starting.
  2. Insert the sterile swab into your nostril (approx. 2cm) and rotate gently.
  3. Repeat in the other nostril using the same swab.
  4. Place the swab into the extraction buffer and mix.
  5. Add 3 drops of the sample into the test cassette.
  6. Wait 10 minutes and read your result.

The process is designed to be safe and suitable for self-testing at home.
Results & when to seek advice
  • Positive result: Indicates presence of COVID-19 and/or Influenza A/B antigens. Self-isolate and contact a healthcare professional.
  • Negative result: Infection unlikely, but not completely ruled out. Repeat testing if symptoms persist.
  • Invalid result: No control line appears – repeat with a new test.

Note: Results should not be read after 20 minutes.

This rapid antigen test detects viral proteins (antigens) from SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza viruses using a nasal swab sample. These antigens are typically present during the acute phase of infection, making the test effective for early detection.

According to the performance data table on page 2 (IFU), the test demonstrates:

  • COVID-19 detection: 96.99% sensitivity and 99.59% specificity
  • Influenza A detection: 95.77% sensitivity and 99.59% specificity

  • Influenza B detection: 94.12% sensitivity and 99.41% specificity
